My $.02 on the Debate

After the debate on Wednesday, I had a nice conversation with my cousin that owns a towing company in Hartford, Connecticut. We talked about a few interesting points that, had Trump taken advantage of them, he could have really made Hillary look bad. Here’s a brief discussion of the points I’m talking about…

She didn’t deny that the Democratic party paid protesters to disrupt Republican rallies.

I think Trump did an excellent job of bringing this up, but once Hillary failed to deny this accusation during her rebuttal, he should have pounced on out. From what I understand, there is quite a bit of evidence to back this accusation and it’s something that could really hurt the democratic party. More importantly,  perhaps,  Trump should have asked what the FBI was going to do with this evidence. It’s apparent that the FBI gave Hillary a pass on the emails and private server scandal (even though a four star general is facing prison time for pretty much the same offense). Is the FBI going to look the other way and this development as well?

Hillary didn’t deny the pay-to-play scheme involving the Clinton Foundation

Again, Trump should’ve pounced on Hillary for not outright denying such a claim. Instead, she went on and on about how good the Foundation is. She never even addressed the accusation of a pay-to-play scheme.

Where’s the $6 Billion??

When Clinton was asked about the rumor that over $6 billion dollars has been unaccounted for from the State Department during her as head of the Department, she had no clear answer other than to say it’s not true. What’s not true? That no money is missing or that it wasn’t $6 billion?? Trump let her off the ropes on that one as well.

Look who else has tried to influence an election…

Hillary spent quite a bit of time asserting that Russia is trying to influence our presidential election and that Trump is in on it. Trump refused the accusation, but Hillary continued to discuss how wrong it is for Russia or any country to try to influence our election. I found this interesting because it was not too long ago that President Obama attempted to influence Israel’s election. I wish Trump jumped all over that one!!

Those are just a few of the many interesting tidbits of exchanges that caught my attention during the debate (I won’t get started on Hillary’s disclosure of the U.S’s response time for nuclear attacks). All in all, I think Trump did well. Hopefully it’s enough to get him elected. I guess we’ll know in a few weeks.

This is Very Interesting…

On the eve of the final debate between Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, I would just like to share an interesting video. However, before we get to the video, I think it’s important to examine the role that allegations of racism has played in this debate. In my opinion, this is much more of a one-sided role because I have not heard or seen nearly as many Republican supporters calling Democratic supporters racist, but it seems that the first rebuttal by many Democratic supporters to Republican supporters is some sort of accusation centered on racism – no matter what the initial statement may have been about. Furthermore, these types of comments have been directed at people of all different types of races. Why is this? If the Republican party is as “racist” as many Democrats and media outlets would have you believe, please explain this video…

Why wasn’t this Bigger News??

I can go on and on and on about my disdain for most of our media outlets, by that’s a story for a different day. I do wonder, however, why this story was not bigger in the news.

I also wonder how it’s possible that the FBI was able to recommend that charges not be filed against Hillary. Since when does the FBI decide who gets prosecuted?? That’s not their function, that’s for the prosecutor to decide. Also, why wasn’t a grand jury convened? It’s astonishing how much of this stuff gets swept under the rug by the media. But, somehow, a private recording of a conversation from 11 years ago gets all the air time. Unbelievable.

Anyways, please enjoy this video I found on YouTube. I love Trey Gowdy and I really wish he was running this time around. Hopefully he’s gearing up for a run  in 2020, we’re gonna need him!!

Time for some Truth Syrup!!!

With less than a month to go before elections, both presidential candidates aren’t pulling any punches, and I’m sure it’s only about to get worse in the upcoming weeks.

I know Trump is flawed in many different ways, but he’s the only option we’re left with. He’s far from perfect, but he’s not nearly as bad of a choice as Hillary. For the life of me, I still can’t fathom why any sane person would vote for Hillary. The fact that she is winning in the preliminary polls is quite shocking and, to be honest, quite scary. And the worst part of it all?? Hillary supporters can’t be talked to or reasoned with. There’s absolutely nothing that will change their mind. I think it’s scary when people are closed off to opposing opinions and viewpoints. BUT, on the outside chance that even one of them can be reached, I’m posting this video I found on YouTube to help shed some light on their candidate. Please enjoy.
